Fun Down on Duplo Farm at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester

We're so pleased to be ambassadors for LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester this year. It's fantastic to have annual passes which mean that we can pop in whenever we like. Bud loves it there but LM can sometimes get a little frustrated that she's too small for some of the attractions. She isn't keen on watching her Brother have all of the fun! That's all set to change though, as LEGOLAND has reinvented their Duplo area to make it more interesting and engaging for their youngest guests. We went along yesterday to see the changes as the brand new Duplo Farm area opened to guests.

Situated in the old Duplo area this section has been fully reimagined as a Duplo Farm, complete with a ride on cow, and dog, an area with supersized LEGO bricks for big constructions, a fab Duplo wall built at floor height to allow little ones to get creative and... best of all... a fantastic new tube slide which toddlers can climb up and slide down themselves!

For the launch of Duplo Farm LDC had got creative, staff were dressed up as farmers with funky checked shirts and straw hats, and the children were treated to a farm story with  three characters fresh from the farm.

After story time we headed over to a Duplo building session. One of Bud's favourite things to do at the LDC is the model building sessions so he was happy that his little Sister could join in with this one and they had soon built Duplo flowers, perfect for the farm!

We had a lovely time at the launch for Duplo Farm and I feel like it's a real improvement on what was there before. It's great that I'll be able to distract LM with the slide and building wall when her Brother and Daddy head off to the rides in future. I was quite surprised at how much Bud enjoyed the area too, at five he's a little older than the target market but happily played in there for some time before heading off to the 4D cinema.
