Woolly & Tig Songs for Wobbly Moments CD

We are huge fans of Woolly & Tig in our house. Bud has watched the show on cBeebies for a couple of years and now Little Miss is really starting to love the blue, red and yellow spider and his best friend Tig. We recently received Woolly & Tig's brand new CD - Songs for Wobbly Moments and I was really interested to see what my two would make of it.


The Woolly & Tig CD features twenty tracks aimed at helping children to deal with challenging situations, just as Woolly helps Tig in the television show. The songs feature there so many will be familiar to little ones already. From helping to deal with the word 'no' (often needed in our house) to songs to help little ones to sleep, from going on holiday to agreeing to disagree, there is a song for a wide range of issues. Helpfully the CD inlay shows an explanation of each song in the inlay as a quick guide for parents. The inlay also features a colouring sheet for little ones to enjoy.


Some of the songs are purely for enjoyment - with no message - and I think the CD offers a good balance between these. My two really enjoyed silly songs like Bunches and songs like Mairi's Wedding will get you dancing! Of course you will also find the theme tune - I Love Woolly too.

We've really loved the Woolly & Tig CD. As soon as she heard Woolly's voice LM started clapping her hands and dancing. Bud has enjoyed it too. I can guarantee that, after listening a few times you'll be humming or singing along, especially with catchy numbers like 'Funky Dunky' which is all about going to the doctor or dentist.

This CD has found it's home in the car and is going to be a feature for longer journeys I think, especially for Little Miss who is really delighted by the music. I think it's a must for any Woolly & Tig fan.
